Who We Are
Hello!
We are a small group of people that met playing financial board games (Cashflow 101 and 202) and became friends.
While we are not trained financial professionals, the c0-founder, Daphne, is an avid macroeconomics hobbyist. Along with her partner and co-founder Vedrana, they roped in Jimmy and Calvin after countless sessions of Cashflow and other financial game meets since 2023. (see below for bios)
So Wealth Whiz Singapore was born.
Our goal in Wealth Whiz Singapore is looking to help Singaporeans navigate the local financial scene by looking into the global economical and geopolitical scenes.

Meet the Team
Daphne Sun (Cofounder, CEO)
Daphne has worn many different hats. She graduated with a Psychology degree from Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada, before studying and working in the theatre industry in New York City for 8 years.
After a brief stint in politics volunteering for the Andrew Yang Presidential campaign in 2019-2020, her political friend mentioned the powerful potential of Bitcoin in their war room. Her curiosity brought her to an important video about inflation and what it is (unlike today, inflation was not a well-known thing back in 2020). Months later however, people started talking about inflation because every one was finally feeling pinched, and Daphne was glad that she had a bit of bitcoin exposure before it went up to $60k in 2021. (Not financial advice, okay?)
Her curiosity brought her down further into the rabbit hole and she found herself fascinated with macroeconomics and how our monetary system is being affected on a daily basis by... the big guys. Even though she took a course in economics in high school (taught by a young teacher who liked to serenade his students with his guitar and gave her an 'A' grade she didn't deserve), digging herself into macroeconomics has given her a much deeper understanding about the markets. She likes following lesser known but reliable sources for on-the-ground microeconomics, and setting up Wealth Whiz is a way to share what she is learning on an ongoing basis.
Vedrana Mukavec (Cofounder, Chief Marketing Officer)
Vedrana holds an engineering degree in Graphic Technology from the University of Zagreb, along with a Master of Science title. Don’t play play. Despite her technical background, she dove straight into the world of graphic design after graduation and has spent her career honing her craft there — which is exactly why she blends form and function so effortlessly.
She’s the mastermind behind everything that looks good on the surface and works seamlessly behind the scenes.
In her bits of free time, she keeps up with AI advancements to streamline her workflow — all in the name of carving out more hours for the things she loves: books, bikes, and gardening.
While she has limited knowledge in the macroeconomics and geopolitical field, she does own a bit of bitcoin (also not financial advice) and likes to look at up-and-coming private companies that may go public soon.
Jimmy Lim (Chief Technology Officer)
Jimmy is an employee turned entrepreneur with a background in software engineering. He graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) with a Bachelor in Computing. He also has a certification in Object Oriented Design Patterns issued by NUS Institute of Systems Science.
Without Jimmy, digital communications within the Wealth Whiz Team will be quite spotty.
Jimmy is also pretty good at networking. If you're at an event, there is a good chance that he will be there as well. If you see him, do stop by and say hi!
Calvin Tan (Community and Information Officer)
Calvin has always had an entrepreneurial mindset. He had a merchandising business for a short while and operated his own courier business for 6 years before closing it up to pursue other opportunities.
Besides having a vested interest in trading, he is also skilled at finding the latest happenings in the local and global regions, thus providing Wealth Whiz many things to sieve through and provide our members with the best content out there.
Calvin is also resourceful in social media and has put WWS on the radar on a couple of platforms. If you joined Wealth Whiz through Nas.io, Instagram, Telegram or even TikTok, you've probably been pulled in through Calvin's workings!
